Not defending them here cause lord knows they can get gone with their discriminatory practices (indirect or otherwise). But, having experience with web design and databases. It's possible this represented a security flaw. What snippets I saw, It looks like an exposed API/SQL.

And while that would be an easy out, we also have yet to see any sort of transparency from this platform on issues around this topic since Susan took over. Worse actually, we've seen lots of gas lighting and lying or side stepping of details like this. I hear your argument tho.
