So @youtube is fine with harmful abusive content that instills hate and violence, but the second queer educators find a way to get paid for their work through sponsors we are threatened with channel strikes? Cool cool. Would love an actual explanation here @TeamYouTube

Question, would it be possible to link to a “resources” page on a site that then includes the affiliate link on it as a work around? So you’re not directly linking to the site but maybe to a blog post that includes the affiliate links for what you talked about

Most sponsorship contracts have specific boxes you have to check in order to get paid. Of which linking to the products or main site is mandatory. sponsors might be fine working around that, but YouTube could update rules and say no sponsors allowed that we don’t like so idk.
