Last August,
@ChaseRoss made a trans 101 series, and some of the most arbitrary videos would be deemed inappropriate. Like, these videos were clearly made for teens, parents, partners. ALL the effort was there in making it appropriate, and it still got targeted. Why????3 replies 3 retweets 62 likesShow this thread -
Replying to @AaronLinguini @ChaseRoss
Yep. And don’t get me started about trans topics. We had a video specifically with a trans guest. Was monetized, demonetized, age restricted, monetized again and is now demonetized needing review. All in the space of three weeks. The only video to have this type of back and forth

And as far as what is appropriate for kids, there are clinical sexologists like
@elleteedee that make videos for teens about their body functions that get age restricted. Sorry but a certified sexologist knows better than a “help” team...pic.twitter.com/VBJQgxqgEr1 reply 0 retweets 3 likes -
I hard agree on all of this. Thank you for the info, I’m trying to look at this critically and in an unbiased way, and having the input from others who’ve had similar experiences really helps

If you have any q’s or need follow ups keep me posted. I appreciate what you and chase do for visibility. It’s just a shame @TeamYouTube treats us like this.
