Heads up,
@YouTube is in the process of updating policies that will ultimately get our channel and other sex-ed/LGBT channels strikes/deleted.

Thumbnails/links can no longer be sexually suggestive, pornographic or inappropriate. So our entire channel.pic.twitter.com/0U7lneZNzM

I know from dealing with their "help" team this will destroy us because they have never sided with us. We've had videos with bisexual people that have been age restrcited. We've had thumbnails removed repeatedly just the last couple months, and YouTube said it was just an error.pic.twitter.com/7F66rlm0re

Now seeing this update, knowing we've had our channel messed with behind the scenes that is in line with this guideline change, and knowing YouTube's review process is incredibly homophobic and sex negative, I'm not super positive our channel will make it through unscathed.pic.twitter.com/wdxRQXP7JZ

If you make content that is ever the least bit "sexually suggestive" I recommend you start editing your links/icons and channel altogether.
@TeamYouTube won't care your content is educational, documentary style or take context into account. Be safe.

Well they’re not the only video streaming service in town. Hopefully a good alternative gains traction quickly. After all the end result of the great tumblr purge was twitter seeing a spike in new users.
