This is just heartbreaking to lose another #INDIGENOUS person in a senseless killing. I don’t know much about #policing, but can we not do something about a seemingly ‘shoot to kill’ policy. Is that always the first or only option. We can and must do better.
So many questions...& utter sadness.
Let us not turn away from or fear the answers... Let us take action... now—‘If Not Us, Who?’... If Not Now, When?’

I am surprised that these problems are existing in Canada. Comparing with my former country Bulgaria Canada is much, much more tolerant but definitely there is a lot of work which should be done. And all of us can have a contribution. I would like to start a discussion.

Unfortunately all to common that people with mental health issues end up dead when they run into the police. Cops really need to reform & figure out how to identify/deal with cases like this.

The system failed Mr. Levi, not the Mounties. Who called the Mounties? Where was his family? Blaming the Mounties is a cop out! If the Mental institution released him then he must gave been deemed fit or cured!
