Hello. Do you agree with the end of the article? "Getting to truly universal health insurance, covering all required health services, doesn’t necessarily mean doing it on medicare’s government-runs-it-all model."

"A number of countries with more extensive and successful health systems rely on a regulated private sector to ensure that everyone is covered." Genuinely interested in your response. Thanks!

It’s a great concept. But what is the plan to pay for it?
-
Who is paying for it now as it stands?

I just want a doctor. One I can make a appointment with, not one in a walk in I have to wait hours for, but only has time to discuss one item after years of not seeing anyone. Victoria BC

Finally pushed myself almost into the middle class and was getting close to getting union benefits, and then Covid Happened. Now, I'm awake at night with my bad teeth still, and wondering how I'm going to replace my broken glasses so I can function.

Jody you should do it on the backs of all you overpaid politicians. I have worked for 45 years and been taxed to death because politicians are increasing taxes to buy votes, carbon tax being the most creative! Taxpayers are the SLAVES of the Politicians.
