Does this mean that a self employed individual earning a commission income can apply for CEBA to continue to run their office expenses? I don’t take a salary, I receive commissions for business I generate.
CEBA has been expanded to include many owner-operated small businesses—incl sole proprietors who: ~receive income directly from their businesses ~rely on contractors ~are family-owned corps that pay employees through dividends rather than payroll. See http://ceba-cuec.ca :

I don't get it. It says on the page that it might not be used for dividends, then why they're saying "family-operated business who pay their employees through dividends"?
