JWR Banana Bread w/ Pecans:
- 1 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 1/4 cup toasted pecans (chopped)
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tsp baking sofa
- 2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp nutmeg
(Mix in large bowl)

- 1/2 cup melted butter
- 1/2 cups vegetable oil
- 2 large eggs, lightly beaten
- 1/4 cup buttermilk
- 1/2 cup brown sugar, lightly packed
- 2 tsp pure vanilla extract
- 5 soft, very ripe, darkly speckled medium bananas

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees / lightly butter loaf pan (makes one loaf)
2. Fold banana mixture into flour mixture until just combined
3. Pour batter into buttered pan
4. Bake until brown/middle cooked — approx. 1-1.25 hrs.

That looks fantastic. I am making buns today using my late mothers recipe. They are still rising so not baked yet. Making these buns is a real workout, I guess that's why she had a pretty good set of biceps.
