Jody, do you not think that this is just a single battle in the war between oil and gas and environmental lobbies? Why are First Nations having to shoulder this burden. This will hurt First Nations standing with many Canadians for a long time to come.

I’ve read this letter and honestly it doesn’t address the urgency of the probem. Jody’s solution is on the long term or what should have already been done to prevent what we face today. But none of these suggestions are a solution to the current blockades.

#3 and parts of #4 gets close, but the only short term action that can stop the current blockades is RCMP completely removing themselves from the Wet'suwet'en territory.
