I find it incredible that there hasn’t been more outrage over Bill 21. In my opinion it is very thinly veiled racism. Doesn’t reflect the Canada that I love. Thank you for sharing this article. I’m glad you’re my MP.

VERY thinly veiled. It's outrageous racism. Political sensitivities around Quebec's desire to be a separate nation within Canada seem to prevent a direct call out. France went the same direction years ago, and has always been among the most racist of European countries.

She wears a hijab, a “non-negotiable item of clothing and expression of her Muslim faith.” I thought it was a choice?

My thoughts too. Always hear how it’s the woman’s choice to decide to wear it.

I applauded your free spirit and your honour for standing up to Trudeau's tactics, but please, please take the time to read the articles of the law, and not just post such incendiairy rag, without comment, without reading it. Thank you.

A great majority of Muslim women do NOT wear a hijab. It is a political statement. Furthermore, it should be noted that ALL religious signs are forbidden. My heart goes to those who fight for freedom not to wear it and for the equality of men and women.
