Human activity plays a very minor role in climate change. There is sth called inertia. If all human based carbon emissions were stopped immediately, the climate would continue to warm for the next 100 years. Canadians should be FOCUSED ON ADAPTING to a warmer climate!

Once ideology is taken out of equation. Economists can only look at solutions through the lens of an economist. They dont have expertise to determine if for example technology that is here or almost here may be more effective than a tax. We can't ignore global emissions.
