Excellent news shovels in the ground immediately. My expectation is that a FN group will purchase the majority of the pipeline and rely on the government to ensure it is built. Anyone breaking laws trying to prevent building should go to jail.
You are correct-we all play a part. 80% of emissions are from consumption! What are all of us in Cda willing to “not consume” to meet our climate tgts? Travel, cell phones, solar panels & wind turbines (you need fossil fuels to make either), farming?

JT is investing $2.05 B going to the moon. Seems to me, $$ should be spent on saving our planet instead of waiting for revenues from TMX pipeline ... and risking it may be too little, too late.

I really like the decision to reinvest the Federal Funds towards a transition, it makes sense. Instead of getting Canada into a Brexit situation with our oil industry, we plan ahead and put money aside to make it happen - Smart #cdnpoli
