The federal government is set to make and announce a decision tomorrow on TMX. There are many considerations - check out my latest blog - ‘My thoughts on the Trans Mountain Pipeline expansion’: https://www.re-electjodywr.ca/trans_mountain_pipeline_expansion …. #VanGran

Today’s #TMX decision by the federal government is as expected — “newly approved”. Yesterday I laid out my considerations — I look forward to discussing this important issue further across #VanGran in the coming weeks and months.

Reinvesting revenues into clean energy projects is essential, respectful and paramount for the federal government to do. Capping carbon coming from the oil sands is another way to quell emissions. Anything from here forward must and will be on the approval of indigenous ppl’s.pic.twitter.com/OsdMtHhZQ0

Excellent news shovels in the ground immediately. My expectation is that a FN group will purchase the majority of the pipeline and rely on the government to ensure it is built. Anyone breaking laws trying to prevent building should go to jail.

You are correct-we all play a part. 80% of emissions are from consumption! What are all of us in Cda willing to “not consume” to meet our climate tgts? Travel, cell phones, solar panels & wind turbines (you need fossil fuels to make either), farming?

You are on the right side of history, Ms. Wilson Reybould. Justin Trudeau is not.

JT is investing $2.05 B going to the moon. Seems to me, $$ should be spent on saving our planet instead of waiting for revenues from TMX pipeline ... and risking it may be too little, too late.

If BC does not want the oil , put it in Canapux and send to Ontario.

So grateful you took the time to listen, think & speak in a way that might just get through to ppl who have been sold so much ___. The pipeline is more of a fashion statement than a real project. It's a sellout to big oil. Just read Kevin Taft's (former AB oppos'n leader) book.

Until innovation-industry are held more accountable for their products for being so dependent on oil-nothing will change. This decision will not make everyone happy, but the @liberal_party plan is much more sound than anything presented before. We all play a part in the globe.pic.twitter.com/q05v5jjMas

I really like the decision to reinvest the Federal Funds towards a transition, it makes sense. Instead of getting Canada into a Brexit situation with our oil industry, we plan ahead and put money aside to make it happen - Smart #cdnpoli
