Watched the senator on PNP today with
@VassyKapelos He seemed dodgy. But he did bring up something curious. Does this bill basically create an indigenous veto? Not just for large projects but basically any project? -
For example if I buy a peice of property somewhere and want B.C hydro to run power lines to it across what is now considered crown land, it could be vetoed under this bill by the local band that claims traditional territory in the area my property is located?

My understanding is CPC want clarity with regard to any one group having veto power on any project. For ANY group to have singular veto is wrong and there needs to be absolute clarity on language and intent of language.
