Why did she not stay in the position that would have helped Indigenous people. Thought it was below her statue, sad!

Such an ignorant question & incorrect reasoning. The IA portfolio deals heavily with the Indian Act, which has done nothing but oppress and limit the rights and freedoms of Indigenous peoples; this had nothing to do with "statue". Her life has been fighting against it lol?

Then you should’ve graciously accepted the IA portfolio. Your ego couldn’t take it so you dumped our veterans too! You are out of touch with decent Canadians people and our struggling people’s needs. All you wanted was revenge. Just cross the floor to the Cons. Aho!pic.twitter.com/A6R18XmF6u

Graciously accept a portfolio that continues to oppress and marginalize her peoples which she has fought against for her entire life

Perhaps you might be out of touch with what Canadians need which is for partisan politics to end and honesty and integrity to resume

Ya screw her, not letting the Butts-Trudeau libs walk over her & the Judiciary. Did she really think that she could just govern with the ideals she ran on? I don't see how someone with an indigenous background would be opposed to connected insider moves that screw the little guy.

Thanks for the feedback,
@Puglaas! On the point of rising above partisanship,@kenscoates made that exact argument in a recent op ed for MLI. Take a look! -BBhttps://www.macdonaldlaurier.ca/taking-partisanship-indigenous-affairs-ken-coates-toronto-sun/ …Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

It will take a very liberal minded goverment, one that has an enormous imagination and ambition that can look into the future and see a way. If the next election goes conservative, that baby faced smile will grin like the Cheshire Cat while he takes apart every liberal action.

Perhaps the greatest irony in our history will come with the understanding that First Peoples knowledge will be the very glue that can hold Canada together and move us forward as a nation. Time for a renewed vision of Confederation!
