I note when Twitter translates the French version of this tweet that "lawfully stopped" in the English version is translated into "legally arrested." Quite an error made there by Twitter's translation algorithm!

Addition of the phrase "they have lawfully stopped" is misleading. Police will be able to demand a breath sample from any driver, period. Will also be able to demand breath sample from people NOT driving if they suspect them of alcohol in system and having driven in past 3 hours.

Unless you make a habit of driving a motor vehicle while impaired, what is the problem? A drivers permit is a priviledge, not a right. I would support a LIFETIME suspension of driving privileges for anyone convicted of impaired driving. We are always talking about a choice here

How much grounds did they need before. I mean they could always just say I smelled alcohol, and if you have been drinking you’re still gonna smell. But I do believe it will be abused and challenged in Court.
