This seems... off. Set aside the public interest element of eradicating impaired driving; MADD is an aggressive lobby. Their policies have made it more difficult for people with addictions/mental health concerns to be healed through laws that promote healing. I don’t like this.

The long term effects of their punitive zero-tolerance approach may very well be the continuation of mental health/addictions cycles—individual and multi-generational—resulting in a less safe society.
