Although I support statehood for DC (and Guam & Puerto Rico) it’s all political theatre and dead in the senate. What about colonial outposts VI and American Samoa?

This needs to happen because of January 6. DC needs the right to have its own National Guard and be able to call them out without going to the Pentagon. Times are too dangerous to leave this big a gaping hole in emergency preparedness.
