    This is the experience of living as a human. This is not a mental disorder.

    Prolonged grief disorder has been added to the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, as experts predict a wave of severe bereavement because of the pandemic. It affects around 7% of those in mourning, preliminary studies suggest.

    I heard from a PhD student at UTas today that the uni will not be extending scholarships or the 4 year deadline for completion to compensate for time lost due to COVID lockdown. I really hope that isn't true. It would be unbelievably unfair.

    "Colleagues...are: “required to undertake such hours as necessary for the proper discharge of their duties”." Literally university employers saying that staff can be required to work all hours of day without a recognised limit. And they wonder why we're demoralised/alienated.

    So a statement of belief is a statement of belief if it’s held by a person who does not hold a religious belief. Okay… …but not believing something is not the same as believing something. It’s like saying knowing something is the same as not knowing it. Truth = Fallacy.

    OMG I have wasted more time trying to get SPSS to save output than I would have if I manually went through 100 interviews and added up. SPSS WHY CAN'T YOU DEAL WITH MULTIPLE SCREENS? Hit 'save' and a dialogue box appears SOMEWHERE off screen, and there's NOTHING YOU CAN DO.

    Managers at want to abolish the departments of the uni's Faculty of Arts & Social Sciences. This is major vandalism. Staff are overwhelmingly opposed yet are being ignored. Share our video and tell managers & to respect staff and the uni.
