“Free stuff” is a rightwing pejorative for first world policy. Nobody thinks it’s free; the question is how the nation benefits in return. Denmark runs a surplus despite all the “free stuff.”

We give ranchers and farmers free $$$$$$$$$$$$ Every Year. We gave free land to homesteaders etc from sea to shining sea. We gave free college up until the late 1970s. BTW, those were popular REPUBLICAN policy positions. 1/2

Ever since Reps decided "free stuff" from govt interfered with business's ability to exploit weak and desperate workers, they've reserved the "free stuff" in their policy positions to the already prosperous owner class. Dems HAVE to stop bobbing after the Rep party's kite! 2/2
