we need a third social democratic party, that's what we need
We all keep saying that we need to “save our democracy.” But who exactly are we saving it for? The plutocrats? The billionaires? The corporations? This “democracy” is not working for the majority of the people. We need a new democracy. A real democracy. A social democracy.

NOW you got it. The new normal will not make Trumpanzees happy. Checks and balances did not work. It's NOT going back to normal. Don't even try it. I see why they said the Revolution will not be televised after watching weeks of Trump campaigning ON TV.
