I've always thought this was so interesting. I think in sentences and though I know not everybody does, I find it impossible to imagine how non-verbal thought works.
I genuinely have full conversations with myself in my head. I’d get so bored if I didn’t have an internal monologue.
I have conversations w/myself. Sometimes, they're pretty amusing. They're also how I know when I'm being lazy or stupid. Half of those convos is the part of me testing out excuses or expressing self-doubt. The other half is the rest of me telling myself to suck it up & try.
this is so fascinating. I’ve never had a conversation with myself in my head, or out loud. It is impossible for me to understand how you could talk to yourself as if you’re another person? I just have like, base feelings about things, or imagine vivid images. But never dialogue!
Yes! A problem I’ve been having lately is when I read emails, I answer them in great detail in my head and then forget to actually write a reply to the person 
Oh big same I also sometimes run through 3 or 4 variations of a practice conversation with someone in my head until I'm happy I've covered most reasonably likely scenarios, then don't have the actual real conversation
Same. And sometimes if I'm particularly close to a person, I'll have their voice in my head and will have lengthy conversations with them that never happened with IRL-them.
I literally have no idea what I've actually talked to my girlfriend about and what I just sounded out in my head She's also got a terrible memory now (2 kids, no sleep) so it's the blind leading the blind

No, it really sucks. Because when I’m trying to explain what I’m thinking, I never can because it’s not anything words can describe. Which is really frustrating in arguments or when you are feeling emotional.
