One of the things I'm watching here are pundits, thinkers, etc. calling for civility and trying to play referee between the various sides in the USA, 'calling out the extremes'. "The dog barks but the caravan moves on"

Pointing out hypocrises is pointless Principles are irrelevant Elites have thrown their optics out of the window as they flex The situation now is all about the exercise of power.

I take your point and agree charges of hypocrisy are fruitless at this stage, but why can’t I keep my own principals?

One side is playing for power. Holding to certain principles only makes the other side that much weaker. When one side is unprincipled and other is principled, the latter is forced to work within very confining parameters.

It pains me so much, so much media on the rifht is just hypocrisy of the week and that can be useful but not when things are the way they are, it is just a waste of time to always complain about hypocrisy when time and time again hypocrisy is their game plan
