  3. What my Druid thinks: "We should talk to the other smuggler in town and leave out certain key details to see if he slips up and gives us the info we need" What he says: "we should talk to the other smuggler and see if he knows more"

  4. Things that worry me in our campaign: My Druid is the smartest party member with a +1 intelligence but I have a -2 charisma. I can't count the number of times I've had to play to this character defect and it turn out poorly.

This one test has me rewriting an entire class and I'm happy about that. TDD can be tough but it's great at pointing out design flaws.

I really want to emphasize that this is not something you should do unless you have a very clear use-case. You're usually better off using two catch blocks. I've known I could do this since C# 6 but it's taken years to find a reason to.

After two years I've finally found a valid reason in C# to chain two exceptions within the same block. I needed the same behavior whether the settings file or directory wasn't found. catch (Exception ex) when (ex is DirectoryNotFoundException || ex is FileNotFoundException)

Often in writing I'm trying to learn something or improve myself in an area as I'm writing about it. If I catch myself making mistakes and need to re-do an experiment, is it valuable to leave the mistaken version in and include a fixed version highlighting where I went wrong?
