It's pretty traditional military history (institutions and operations) of the Ptolemaic Kingdom, for 2 reasons: (1) Christelle Fischer-Bovet already did a really good book on the social history of the Ptolemaic army just a few years ago, so (2) I let myself nerd out on this one.
