I'm often told to 'stick to cancer' so let me do that.
Disruption caused to diagnosis, treatment and research will cost countless lives.
Coronavirus tunnel vision has caused the biggest cancer crisis in my lifetime. It's a disaster. I will continue to raise awareness of that.

A man with a PhD in immunology being told to ‘stay in his lane’ by Account Managers and Sales Assistants... it’s almost funny.

Nothing wrong with account managers and sales assistants!
But yes, some of the comments are tiring. That PhD was hard work!

I Lost my father in law due to them not doing the correct cancer checks because of covid, everything put on the back burner to be picked up later, we have now lost a great part of our lives 😞

So sorry to hear this. We have lost people close to us from suicide over lockdown and several friends/relatives having cancer treatments/biopsies delayed. Its a terrible situation. Much love. X

Irresponsibly government & ‘media’ tried to scare the American people every step of the way creating an OVERBLOWN PANIC. Virus 99.96+% survivalrate behaving largely like standard annual flu our massive overreaction has been devastating creating unnecessary widespread human misery

I found out today that a 22 year old former colleague has died of a (normally very curable - 95% survival) cancer. I don't know the details, but it's very plausible that his death was caused or hastened by treatment delays.

Most friends and family of mine undergoing cancer treatment have been very lucky and seemed to have had wonderful treatment. Some sadly will be victims of the collateral damage of this virus 😪😪😪
