Playing Dominaria Pre-prerelease and loving it makes me want to do more Magic videos, but I feel like too small of a fraction of my audience cares? It's more that the people who don't care complain about me making a video that isn't "for them" than the audience being too small
It's a struggle with any kind of production. Putting out a video saying "hey here's a thing j want to talk about" and seeing tons of comments saying "WHEN ARE YOU GOING TO TALK ABOUT ___". For example, the sheer number of Final Fantasy comments on the last video I did.
If you want to do it, do it. It's more fun watching videos when the creator is visibly excited about the content
I’ve never played Magic, so I wouldn’t consider those videos “for me” but they’re very entertaining and good background noise while I’m working on something at worst. If people think that they’re entitled to seeing certain content from you, they need to get a grip on reality.
Make it, your MtG content is great man. It's great hearing about what you love!

Make it anyway! Especially if you really want to. Also, your videos are what made me pick up magic in the first place. I pulled myself out of Yugioh hell and was left Shepardless for years until you showed me the way. Now show us all the way to the promised land of Dominaria!
I am sorry you are experiencing this. I know very little about Magic, but I started watching your stuff because I knew nothing about DnD and I loved your videos on it! I know it is not much, but know that you have my support no matter what videos you decide to make. 
I loved all the MtG stuff you've put out so far, don't let some haters keep you from making content about something you like!
You should do it. Personally, I feel that the passion that you would pour into something which has been so centralized in your gaming life would, even if not evoke a newfound interest in those not as familiar with the subject, at least be incredibly entertaining & informative!
That's lame of people to demand essentially free content from you. Do what you like and don't take those comments to heart. More mtg fans will find their way to you if you do more of those videos, too.
I don't play magic myself, but my roommates do and watching your videos on it help me understand them abit better. I know it's alot of work, but do videos on what you want to.
I always find when people ask “when is....” I tend to do the opposite and avoid that thing they want. I used to play magic and I’d love to see a vid. Great seeing you on the @loadingreadyrun stream!

Not that I have much experience, but it seems to me that you put the content you want to make and the right crowd will come with time. I dunno, but in the end it is your channel and your real fans will respect that.
At the end of the day it's gotta be about if you are happy with your content and if you go back and say "I wish I had done that instead/first" then you're not happy. #doyothanghoney :D
I don't play or care about the Pokemon tcg, but occasionally I'll watch someone open a few packs just to see their excitement and maybe hear a story about a card or life experience. It's you we watch the videos for mainly, I'm sure you'd have plenty of people who would tune in.
You should just do what makes you happy, I know its not always that simple but a happy Jared is a fun to watch Jared.
Why not do an MtG May, or something along those lines? It seemed to have worked on your D&D content which seem to have less complaints due to it being some form of special event
