@HollyConrad Walnut presents a box to Strix, meticulously wrapped in official Acquisitions Inc stationary. “Your profile in the registry from head office states you are fond of both pies & owl bears, so I made you a minced owl bear meat pie." #wafflesinc

Strix looks up from the ground and stares at Walnut, then at Diath, then at Walnut, then at Evelyn, and back to Walnut. With tears streaming down her face she takes the pie and hugs it, muttering about how they had to eat something called "Hooty" and how she was "so, so sorry"

Diath lets out an exasperated sigh. "Strix. Her name is Strix." He then mumbles to himself. "I thought you read her papers." #WafflesInc

Strix stands up, still eyeing the gift from Walnut, and wipes away her tears. She looks to K'thriss and holds out a beautiful, flakey pastry baked into a small, charred black skull carved with arcane symbols. The pastry is made to look like entrails. #wafflesinc

"Ah," she mutters "This is for you K'thriss. And this," she holds up what looks like a ghoul's tongue on a toothpick "Is for your pet! And the pie is made of underdark mushrooms and herbs, I hope you like it!! PLEASE STAY OUT OF MY HEAD." #wafflesinc

K’thriss’s eyes are full of wonder as he wordlessly accepts the skull and crams the pastry into his mouth. “What… do... your symbols… mean.” He is asking Strix as much as he is also asking the skull. #WafflesInc
