He literally told us to move the fuck on. Even Luke did when he tossed that saber over his shoulder. People cried when Episode VII was too similar to IV, and now they cry because episode VIII is too different than anything else.

The smashing of iconic, culturally powerful symbols was remarkable to me. Lightsaber sliced in half, Kylo’s mask shattered. These are artifacts now, time to make new ones! Bold and beautiful and so, so right.

I haven't seen it yet, but it can't possibly be as bad as ep. 1-3. I actually like what Disney has done with the franchise since they rescued it from Lucas' dementia.
