@Jeff_like_Feff The fact that the guy kept stealing/plagiarizing/duplicating footage even at the 200,000 subscriber mark, as opposed to making transformative videos really is disappointing to see. People should feel inspired, not compelled to plagiarize.

It sucks when someone steals something you worked hard to make. It's not right when they take credit for your effort and creativity.

As a new youtube content creator. This worries me. Getting started is always hard, and if someone steals videos, they take away what little views I might have gotten. What could I do to prevent/make it more notaceble that these are my videos?

People steal they can't make good content like you

I had this happening to me when I had a channel with less than a thousand subscribers. I wonder if these would be less common if more creators had subtitles for different languages.

I mean i'm sure you probably don't really have the resources right now but can't you sue?

people do this because they are lazy to make their own videos i hate that a lot

Hey, you should claim copyright on YouTube so his channel get removed, a situation like this happened to an alien/predator theorist YouTuber, he claimed copyright and YouTube eliminated the stolen videos

The worst is when you get videos stolen that then have ads put in them, so others are profiting off your hard work!
