they probably think that it won't sell on switch on the west enough to justify it, the Wii and WiiU MH games didn't sold that hot either

maybe you are overestimating the power of the switch... processing power is not only used for pretty graphics...

Maybe. Downgrading it for Switch is a better option than putting it on Xbone where the audience is near zero. SE did that with DQXI no prob.

because unlike DQXI, they can't just downgrade the graphics, there are elements on MHW that eat processing power that are gameplay related

They downgraded DQ Musou 1+2 no prob also and that has a billion things eating cpu power.

those are ports of the vita version...and the Switch version is closer to the vita than the PS4 version...at half the framerate
