Suppose that's fair, but they've had a precedent for trailers in their Direct, extensive gameplay in the Treehouse. Different expectations.

I disagree, Jared. Nintendo's E3 is specifically structured to not give you the long gameplay segments you want during the conference.

I think that since Nintendos was Different, using the Treehouse time to show off then the conference itself, gives it a bit of leeway.

But a presentation works better as reveals and subtle tidbits, with more on the way then over doing and over hyping with live gameplay.

If every company is having gameplay at E3, then why would it matter so much if the presentation shows it or not?

This is fair, a lot of people tune in to the presentations only to see what the companies are showing off.

Treehouse is different than just showfloor though, it's still presentation + announcements being livestreamed.

That's fair. I feel like its hard to compare Nintendo to the others because their format is a little different.

Grading the Nintendo press conference without considering the Treehouse event is pretty much redundant.
