"UGH EA SO BORING. I DON'T CARE ABOUT SPORTS". Okay. But there are millions of players in the world that do.

I think when someone says "this is boring," the "to me" is implied. Not necessarily narcissitic, just opinionated.
-
I think most of it is just quips for tweets. Cynicism is high around E3, I doubt it's genuine bitterness or serious demands for appeasement.

Reminds me of people who complain that their game isn't in someone else's Top 10 favourite games

i don't think that expressing my opinion about how boring i think the event is means that i expect that it will be tailored to me

Expecting people to keep their opinions to themselves is narcissistic and egocentric. Stop not liking that people don't like what you like.

This just in: having an opinion is narcissistic
-
This just in: Twitter user selectively reads tweet
-
He's taking opinions too personal. Someone saying they don't like sports games doesn't mean that no one is allowed to like sports games.
-
Re-reading the quote he used, yeah, I can see your point. Ignoring the rudeness of the quote, they weren't really bashing others' opinions.
-
Some think that every conference should be catered toward them and those people suck, but most people are just expressing game opinions.
-
Agreed.

If avid videogamers expect greatness out of EA, then they are most likely watching their conference for the first time.
-
EA has never impressed me with their lineup. However, I still follow the announcements out of sheer curiousity.
-
And it's also great material for snarky Twitter commentary.

I did something weird this year. I knew that EA wouldn't announce anything that I'd care about so I didn't watch it. It seemed to work.
