I dont suggest FF1 on NES. its really buggy. and not in a game breaking way, but in a, you need to remove and re-equip gear 4 lvls

Translation is great on it, but the music suffers. It's how I fell in love with 6 originally, so I'm sticking with SNES.

I'm honestly surprised that FF9 is not on that list. I realize a list like this is going to be different from person to person.

I played through 9 pretty recently, so it's still fresh on my mind. One of my top 5!

It is really what the franchise needed after 7 and 8, a return to medieval style fantasy. Freya is my favorite dragoon.

I love NES 1, DS 4 is rad, 6 is my absolute favorite. Never really played 2 in any form, and halfway through 3 and 5.

never played a version of 2 that really grabbed me. Its kind of a black sheep of the series imo
