Or I should just play through Final Fantasy 3. Not sure if I'd rather do the good DS remake or an english-patched original.
I've played both, but never finished either. I'm leaning towards Famicom version because I could bring back Peeb, Jerd, Ian and Joof.

the DS version has some massive gameplay faults, like how you get a temporary Stat down whenever you change classes.
