Had a showerthought of making my own game like this, with simplistic battles and random text descriptions for attacks, like a Dungeon Master
I would love a new Final Fantasy game that harkens back to FF1/3. Four Members, no names, multiple classes. Make your own party and story.

My favorite FF game with jobs is FFV. I would love a return to the turn based era, but I don't think we will see those days again.
