@Wizards_DnD The chemistry of the players interacting with the world the DM has made. I can go without maps and such.

i like it when it's taken serious enough to actually get stuff done and advance, but still comedic hijinks may occur.

@Wizards_DnD Small cast (no more than 4 players, plus DM), short-ish length (no more than 2 to 2 1/2 hours max).

The social side- It's always enjoyable seeing what jokes and such come out stuff like this!

Harmon Quest on seeso is really fun

Really, just like any story worth listening to, the strength lies in the characters and the adversities they have to face

I think its whatever makes a good story told, no difference. Good characters well paced narrative and fun times

I personally just enjoy how "improv" D&D stories are, how they're getting shaped by the PCs and the GM together and how {1/3}

genuine the reactions to the twists & turns of a story in & out of character are. Players are experiencing it like viewers {2/3}
