I feel like Nintendo's selling the Switch at such a low price that they had no choice but to bump up all accessories

The dock is effectively a powered USB-C to USB/HDMI multi-port hub. Those do not run cheap, for better or worse.

. Look at the DS4. $70.

by the time you add a battery to an xbox one controller its about the same £.some games do seem £40 not £60 games
