Twitch is a smaller and more loyal section of the fanbase. YouTube is any old Joe can stumble upon your videos.

YouTube livestreaming or just comments? I find it hard for me to get an audience on Twitch to be honest.

I think you should compare Youtube comments with Twitter comments. Live chat is usually more direct and positive + less backseat.

YouTube is sort of a cesspool, whereas twitch are more good-natured trolls

Obviosly, there's the element of Twitch being lesser-known, but I think the responses change when it's so immediate like that.

maybe because you can immediately call out twitch chat and there's less hiding behind a screen than on YouTube

Spend very little if any time on twitch though that's not surprising.

What keyboard do you use?

I find it's a lot easier to get attached to someone who's live, maybe that prevents some of the youtube-comment-type shittiness?
