I know this is an old thread but I'm curious why you didn't like fates.It was way better than awakening imo and you loved that one

@Falchion115 I think Fates is pretty amazing. The only downside is the plot, but that's not why one plays Fire Emblem.

The Support convos were pretty good, some were even great, and the gameplay has lots of depth.

Awakening is better written, but Fates is by no means bad IMO.

There are a few characters in Fates that I think beat out Awakening's cast, like Takumi and Leo.

FeFates writing was quite underwhelming but the gameplay was a million times better than Awakening.That alone makes it better tbh.
