Same. And I haven't enjoyed a Pkmn game since Silver/Gold. Pacing is genuinely fresh & Pkmn's adoration matters.
It's the most fun I've had with a Pokemon game in quite some time. I enjoy it far more than X/Y and WAY more than ORAS.

Personally, I consider it objectively the best Generation in quite a while. Not my favorite tho. Gen 2, bois.
