I just checked a Wii controller, and it's definitely not labeled anything but plus or minus (Wii U does have the labels, though)
You do realize that the Nintendo 3DS still has a Start and Select button, right?
they weren't labeled on the wii
take a moment and think of a reason they actually need to be called start and select.
But now we have a circle-in-a-square button
god had abandoned us
Now there are no select buttons on any console anymore.
+ and - sound better
I am going to replace them in all facets of life. Like, I am going to + being more -ive of my choice of gaming systems.
the Wii labelled them only as +/-.
I thought START & SELECT were dumb names anyway. I mean, SELECT never selects anything, and START is mostly used to -pause- games!
actually on older games it was quite common for start and select to do what the names implied(nes, snes)
only on the classic/pro controller as far as I know.
How am I gonna check the Quest Info now?
Nevemind the +/- buttons, WTF happened to their patented D-Pad? It looks like one of those shitty knock-off console D-Pads.
Ah, even the options button I call Start. So long as 'Start' is on the right, and 'Select' is on the left, it works for me.
Actually, on a Wii Controller, they were labeled as + and - so... yeah.
