You do thorough maintenance like defrag, scans, and repairs, right?

Also I've had some crashes happen until I completely unplug my PC from the wall then turn it back on.

Has there been a new update for your GPU? I actually had more problems when updating than using old drivers

First download speccy. Second, check the temperatures of your CPU and GPU. If CPU temp is red, consider replacing thermal paste.

doubt it's the video card since you mentioned the sound stop working

Might be overheating. Depending the temp there, it's most likely that. Heat has been getting to my comp too this week.

First step of course is to remove dust from computer. Unplug and turn off PSU, ground yourself, then clean out computer.

It sounds like a dying video card, but that's about all I can offer without actually looking at the machine in person.

If it's heat related you should be experiencing thermal throttling and performance loss before a crash. Check temps, clean case.
