Crash, Spyro and Tomb Raider are really good examples of games with distinguishable textures but im wondering why it is graphics looked simpler on the N64 even though it was capable of more. Was it a stylistic choice? Cn anyone give examples of n64 games with higher graphics? :0
The N64 did have higher specs but could not handle texture mapping as well as the PS1.
The N64 cartridges also had way, WAY lower memory than the CDs used by the PS1, so they couldn't fit too many good-looking textures.
