The problem is ProJared is a grandpa. He only thinks about “back in my day, games were GOOD!!! Now games are shit!!!” Final Fantasy 1 aged poorly but he keeps giving excuses. Final Fantasy XIII is decent but he acts like it’s the worst thing ever. He’s an old era dying.

Im going to have to slightly disagree, ff4 and ff7 are two of my favorites of all time. They're good not because of nostlagia but because they're good. I'm just advocating the 13 is good as well.

Of course the Screw Attack shill would reply this. Grandpa Jared and Grandpa Sam need to get over the fact that their old era is dying and a number of their old games (1, 2, 3, 5) were either bad or extremely lacking.

@FFXI is the only MMO that I have ever returned to after quitting. This now being the third time I have started from scratch. Even though it is now very long in the tooth, there is something compelling about it.

Same here ive been playing for awile and have quit 3 times prior so this is the fourth time ive re-activated my account lol

@Arsenette and I could not recover our accounts due to corruption of the files caused during POL > SE account migration around 2009 after we quit the last time. We had to start again from scratch. Still having fun though and #SquareEnix #FFXI support staff were excellent.

Thanks. Facerolling content that was difficult years ago that we have completed 2-3 times has it’s own charm. Looking forward to all of the missions/story that we did not complete previously. Except Abbysea, glad we missed those years lol.

Yeah abyssea was my least favorite expansion mission wise but i did enjoy the story! My favorite would be CoP and WotG I really miss the excitement and adrenaline that came from the Promyvion areas and bosses.

Zilart and what we completed of WotG were my favorites. Didn’t care for Aht Urhgan. I found the encounters and areas to be tedious. And those colibri and imps can go play in traffic as far as I’m concerned.
