Yo twittertwat. I'm looking to capture footage from my 3DS for the near future. Is this simple/possible with my current 3DS XL, or do I need a special system? Where do I start? Thanks for the help!

It's also ungodly expensive, only one man on earth can make it for you, and he doesn't want to do it anymore. Trust me I've been trying for years to record 3DS stuff.
-
If you mean Loopy, there's also another site but it's a bit dodgier: https://www.3dsvideocapture.com/
-
Yeah I know about it. But I'm far too weary of spending 500$ on something that might not even work.
-
I bought a standard pre-modded 3DS from there back in 2014. It works well enough, but it feels flimsier. I'd also not trust them to mod a system of mine and not lose it.
-
So buying a system from them is actually legit?
-
It is, a few friends of mine have as well, but their times can be inconsistent. I got mine in ~2 weeks, one friend was waiting almost 4 months
-
Well if it actually works I don't mind waiting. Thanks for the info.

Caddy, you'd need to look up a site like 3dscapture or something like that. They'll sort ya out

You can get custom firmware and do it that way but it can have a spotty frame rate cause it's wireless

A homebrewed n3ds can do screen capture but you'd probably be better off with a professionally modded system.

Do you have to send it to Japan to get different mods for it to record?
