I getcha, but since it's been years I think us TES fans are just excited to know for sure that they're working on it at all.

Maybe it's too cynical of me, but Bethesda working on another Elder Scrolls game is inevitable. Like, does anyone really think that they *wouldn't* make another? It comes off as very "no shit" to me.
-
I'm not sure cynicism enters into it. Maybe if your stance was "Who cares it'll probably be bad" that's a different story. If you're just like "Yeah that makes sense." I don't think that's negative in any way, it just feels like it in contrast with the excitement of your peers~

But there was music too. In all seriousness, I'm unapologetically stoked for them to acknowledge its existence. Wasn't very long ago at all that Todd said they hadn't started it yet. Which was pretty disheartening for a lot of TES fans considering how long it's been since Skyrim
-
I mean, it's existence is ALREADY known. Bethesda is not Valve, they'll make another game of their biggest IP. I think this is more disheartening for the fans since we probably not gonna hear about TES VI for at least 2 or 3 years or so.
-
I can't really fathom how the announcement of the new game is somehow more disheartening than if they had said nothing at all though, lol. Nothing is what most people expected I think.
-
It gets more annoying if you know there's a game announced few years ago & you still don't know anything about it. FF15 is a great example for that. All those years of waiting & it was a huge disappointment for the fans. I prefer an announcement when they have something to show.

(And I can't believe you answered. I'm fanboying hard right now, god dammit man.)

And in 14 words, you’ve summed up my thoughts about E3

Me: I can't get hype over video game trailers anymore. There's just no telling if they're gonna be good games or not Also Me: Cries at the first hint of new Pokemon
-
Yeah, I feel like I’ve been in a mode of “I’ll believe it when I see it” since I fell for the Mario movie trailer in 1993
-
-
Hey! The 1993 Mario movie is absolutely up there with the best movies of all time.

You guys are just mean! It's no cinematic masterpiece but it sure as hell is a fun time to watch, especially if you're wasted. But what do I know, I'm the type of person that likes to watch The Phantom Menace over the rest of the prequels.
