  I completely agree with Jaron Lanier’s ideas and had twitted about data value months ago. This Data Dignity is a brilliant good concept to clarify people their data worth a lot, and that, in the future, we’ll have a brand new market and much competition and companies to buy it.

  Odd that a "privacy project" would come to the conclusion that we should encourage people to cough up all of their data for financial return. How about we go a different way? For example, we could round up the CEOs of sites that don't respect DNT and shoot them into the sun?

  No you really shouldn’t. #privacy is a fundamental human right. Not something to be bought and sold. It needs to be available to all, not those who can afford it. It’s not a fixed asset like a car, as once known things cannot be unknown, and multiple copies can be made.
