ok thanks white boy
thank you so much for your insight; thanks for the full psych-analysis you managed to do on Kanye to conclude that this was what he was OBVIOUSLY talking about. We'll take it from here now...

Well. For most of the slaves it was there own people that sold and traded them to the Europeans. So it wasn't a choice for the slaves themselves. But there was some decision making.

You can believe whatever you want to. Anyone who believes only white people are capable of slavery, isn't worth the time of day or the brain cells.
-
They aren’t the only ones capable of slavery but um they enslaved Indians (native to Caribbean) and 1/2 a continent so they seem to like it
-
They banned it.

After doing 400+ years of it and building their economies to first world while the Caribbean is still 3rd world with our resources stolenpic.twitter.com/5Qamih6boZ

You’re right. The real quote is better at showing “the choice” Kanye references: “I had reasoned this out in my mind; there was one of two things I had a right to, liberty, or death; if I could not have one, I would have the other” Harriet, The Moses of Her People 1886

Nah I'm pretty sure he was saying that 400 years is a long time and that if something was going on that long and you couldn't find a way to get out of it then it probably wasn't forced upon you but a choice to stay enslaved. He then mixed it with mental enslavement. Made no sense
-
Makes sense. For 400 years people have stayed in the mindset of slaves. When they are already free. Black Americans are the 3rd most privileged group on the planet but let their mindset restrict them. People would risk death to be in their position
-
3rd most? How so?

Why do you think his words are ridiculous?
