It's not that we "fawn" over hijabs, we just want to allow women to wear it if they want, and don't wear if they don't want. The problem lies when women are forced to take off or put on their hijabs.

A lot of young people that r ignorant of History don't realize that just 25 yrs ago, Iran was a very Educated/Moderate Country. Women wore western conservative clothes, allowed College Education etc. It is not until the Mullah came in and recessed the country to the dark age.
