Hahaha. You're more zio than I'll ever be :-)
-
You are a zio patsy. You don't even know you are being used
-
LOL I know enough to know whether or not I'm being used. Not like the masses of brain washed who believe in magic fairies, and want the rest of the world to believe it as well.
-
Like you created yourself did you?
-
LOL For a seemingly intelligent person you are certainly brain-washed by a fictional ideology.

The point is about freedom of choice. Obliging women to wear it if they don't want to (Iran, Saudi...), or chastising them if they choose to (some places in the West), are equally reprehensible.
-
The difference is that for women I’m Saudi Arabia, Iran etc it can mean prison, persecution or worse! So it’s NOT equally wrong.
-
It is equally wrong, but the consequences are more terrible in these oppressive theocracies. Completely support women in Iran/Saudi in their battle for freedom. But don't think that means denying freedom of women in West to wear what they want.
-
Hope you support the immigrant women living in the UK also and not apply cultural relativistic views on their oppression, which many “feminists” do here in Sweden. The veils is not a symbol of free choice, it’s a symbol of medieval oppression.
-
If by "veil" you mean face covering, then agree. But I've met young, educated, confident women who have chosen to dress that way, even though their mothers don't. I feel offended by it, but I don't have the right to tell them what to wear.
-
I also include the hijab, which cover hair, neck and shoulders. The completely horrible burka, niqab and similar should be banned from all public places in any decent society. The others, not covering the face, should only be allowed for women over 18.
-
So you believe in a society where the government tells people what they are/are not allowed to wear, presumably backed up by legal sanctions. Sound familiar?
-
They already forbids us to wear Nazi uniforms in public right? And that is a good thing. Why so protective of patriarchal, medieval traditions? In what way do they make our society better?

Iran use to be an amazing and beautiful country until
#Islam took it over. -
Please study the history of Iran/Persia. Let me just say you will discover that what has happened over the last century there is 100% the fault of the US and UK. Key words "Mossadegh", "CIA", "1953 Iranian election", "British Petroleum", "Shah's human rights record"

So......you're saying we should mount a full-scale invasion of Iran, and kill young men and destroy cities until they submit to western ideas of justice? Please clarify if I have mistaken your intentions.
-
Strawman, begone until you have something more compelling to offer.
-
Soo...you're also incapable of civil discourse, either because you don't have any actual thoughts to contribute, or you're a troll who thrives on the joylessness they bring to any conversation. I suspect the first, since you don't know what a straw man is, but "both" works too.
-
Creating an argument I never made and attacking it as if I had, a successful argument does not make, and is the very definition of a
#strawman. Again, get back to me when you have anything worth engaging. Shoo pest.pic.twitter.com/tlemrmgQSV
